Our designs are clean and simple but they produce an aura of eye-catching femininity. Every item is made specifically to go from day to night and worn either casually or dressed up.

Like luxury fashion houses, we offer a new collection every season. Each season’s garments are designed to be harmonious together, as well as to blend effortlessly with our previous collections. Take a peek at our earlier collections and you’ll notice garments with similar lines that flatter the current collection and can be easily mixed and matched. We create our clothes to exponentially expand our customers’ wardrobes.

THE QUALITY: PRODUCTION AND MATERIALS
Designed for energetic women as well as for moments of luxurious lounging, our garments are comfortable, moveable and non-restrictive. We employ skilled, experienced seamstresses to provide you with garments that will enhance your wardrobe for a long time to come. Every garment produced and sold is inspected by our designer to maintain a high standard of quality.

Utilising mostly cotton, rayon, linen and FSC-certified fabrics, we aim to significantly reduce the environmental impact of your new wardrobe. To produce a responsibly made product, we choose each material with intention and care. When sourcing fabric for our designs, we prioritise natural, recycled and organic fibre and never use fur, feathers or leather. Here is a closer look at our most commonly used materials:

COTTON

Cotton is the quintessential natural product. A 100% biodegradable fibre, it is environmentally friendly and very durable, breathable and hypoallergenic.

RAYON

Rayon is a breathable fibre and is made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated as cellulose fibre. Rayon uses half the energy to produce than cotton. With its silk-like aesthetic, rayon has the ability to create a perfectly soft drape over the body.

LINEN

Linen is often found throughout our collections, as it requires less water and energy to produce. Linen is a sustainable fibre made from the flax plant — a gentle crop that helps deter weeds and can be grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides. Linen is very strong and absorbent, and it dries faster than cotton. Because of this characteristic, linen is easily worn in any season. It keeps the body cool and gets softer with each wash.

FSC-CERTIFIED

Forest-based fabrics, such as rayon and viscose, are increasingly being used by the fashion industry. This is good news, as they can be more environmentally friendly than synthetic textiles or cotton, if the cellulose fibers come from well-managed forests. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certifies products that come from forests being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers.

THE DESIGNER

Tantiana’s journey began in Indonesia as the daughter of a skilled designer/dressmaker. There Tantiana learned her mother’s eye for fashion and the importance of paying close attention to a garment’s little details. Before launching her own label, Tantiana ran a successful business as a personal stylist. She took many trips to Europe to hand select luxury clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories and fragrance for her clients. After moving to Australia, Tantiana paired up with a jewelry designer to design and produce a line of boutique jewelry that included casual pieces as well as bold, statement pieces. Eventually, Tantiana decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps by earnestly studying fashion design. Tantiana keeps in mind her experience as a personal stylist when she creates versatile pieces that will enhance any wardrobe. She keeps her mother in mind when she includes the fine details that add quality and value to a garment. Importantly, Tantiana keeps her new home in mind when she designs for the Australian lifestyle, using comfortable, breathable fabrics to create fashion that accentuates the female form.

ORDERING AND PRE-ORDERING

TANTIANA The Label knows the fashionable woman wants to cultivate her own unique style. To facilitate this, every garment of ours is produced in a limited quantity — sometimes only one of each size. This spices up all of our customers’ wardrobes with the flavour of exclusivity. So if you see something you like, do not delay in ordering it — it won’t likely be in stock for long.

On occasion, we procure only a small amount of a particular fabric from which to make a specific design. When this occurs, we sell those garments by pre-order only, to ensure that the lucky few customers who purchase that item will be able to get it in their desired size. Please allow extra time for delivery with pre-order items.
